Free one-day Workshop on “Pre-grant Opposition on Patents”

We are pleased to inform you that GNA Patent Gurukul in collaboration with

CENTAD (Centre for Trade and Development) is organizing a free one-day

workshop on “Pre-grant Opposition on Patents”, on 8th September 2006, at

HOTEL AVION, Near Domestic Airport, Mumbai.

This seminar is aimed to provide the importance of Pre-grant Oppositions for

patent applications. The main objectives of the seminar will be:

- To explain the concept and importance of pre-grant observations on

pending patent applications, in order to generate interest in and

awareness about the potential of this mechanism;

- To increase support, among the senior management of relevant

organizations and/or corporates, for preparation and submission of such observations.

The workshop is primarily targeting senior management. The registration will

be subject to confirmation by us due to limited participation. We are, however,

planning a training program for general staff thereafter.

We must mention that the registration is restricted to first 30 participants.
