Patent Gurukul celebrated the Annual Event and Diploma award ceremony at Mumbai on 9th September, 2007 . Mr. T. C. James, Director, Intellectual Property Rights, Govt of India and Dr. M. Venkateswarlu, Drug Controller General India were the Guest of Honour. Diplomas were awarded to 22 successful candidates from the 2nd batch. Dr. M. Venkateswarlu among other issues stressed on the need for foreign language education. He delivered the annual keynote address on Regulatory Interphase in the present scenario. Mr. T. C. James in his keynote address on IP and Public good covered all aspects of IP including patents and their relevance for the benefit and improvement in the lives of the common man. Infringement related exemptions were also highlighted by Mr. T. C. James in his lecture. Diplomas and Awards were handed over by Dr. M. Venkateswarlu and Mr. T. C. James, to the successful candidates
